Requirements are somewhat flexible. It is for my wife and I and so far one child (toddler). Prefer upper part of the UWS (80's, 90's, and 100's-110's if it is west of Amsterdam, but probably open to '70s). We might make some concessions for lower prices. For example, more baths are better but we can probably live with one bath. No real preference between pre-war of post as I think the quality of the building maintenance is more important.
My wife says she is OK with walkups (I will keep her on the 3rd floor or lower) and outdoor space is a plus, but not required (oh how we will miss the terrace we have now, 800 sq. ft., ah well).
I am just wondering what kind of info I can find from the community of RE hobbyists on here.
