Discussion about
This may be more of a tech question, but I was just curious if anyone knows how this site becomes aware that a property has gone into contract? Is there some database that brokers enter the property's status into, which Street Easy also has access to? Just curious.

You should probably just ask them ;-)

#2, yes I did send in a query to them a couple of days ago, but I haven't heard back so I thought I'd ask here. Perhaps I'll hear back from them at some point.

#3, that occured to me as well, but it seems kind of labor intensive for someone to go sifting through every listing's web page, no? I'm thinking it's done through a database that automatically feeds the info into Street Easy, but I was just curious.

Yes, brokers enter it into their database and intelligent agents (software things) can read it and record it.

The relationship between this site and the brokerages represented is less obviously than I personally would like.
