Maybe because they are overpriced and have hideous balconies?

I agree - they are very overpriced and the 2 townhouses at street level are oddly shaped and unattractive. The terraces are not functional - and the sales people are arrogant

I've not been there but it's hard to get a feeling for the building from their website although what I see does not impress.

It's being "curated", no less. Aren't you impressed?

These condos are AWESOME!!! The HUGE space and SUPER-HIGH ceilings blow away most other buildings. And the details and finishes in the kitchens and bathrooms (which by the way are also HUGE) are so amazing and so much nicer than any I have seen for a comparable price. Yes, the front balconies are pretty wierd, but the floor-to-ceiling glass-enclosed private patios that are behind the balconies and cannot be seen from the street are so UNIQUE and AMAZING and more than make up for it. I don't know what all the negative talk is about. Maybe just bitter people who can't afford the price (like me) but that doesn't mean it's not worth it for someone who can afford it. If I had the dough I would buy there in a heartbeat!

#8 likely broker but if not- just b/c someone expresses an opinion doesnt mean they are bitter or cant afford it -

I agree with comment #8 above. My wife and I are seriously considering buying here. It IS very open, beautiful and unique space, unlike anything else in the neighborhood. Everything is brand new and top-of-the-line. Who knows who is writing these comments so it's probably best if you check it out for yourself. I think lots of people will fall in love with this place.

#'8,10 likely same person and probably sales agent for M. I visited the M with my wife within the last month, just wasnt impressed. According to this web site, the M has already significantly reduced the price of one unit, so obviously they are not selling. Dont worry, your curated units will eventually sell.

#6, #7, #9, and #11 are all probably the same person, namely a neighborhood developer/broker who is not going to be able to compete with the awesome apartments at the M at Beekman. Sour grapes. That's all. The place rocks.

So a potential buyer expresses an opinion and the sales agents for M trash the customer. I am #10, once again, my wife and I visited, didnt hate the condos, just wasnt all that impressed. Not worth the price. 330 east 57th better value IMHO. This web site is for people to be able to express their honest thoughts whether the sales agents like it or not. So relax, to each their own, others will like it more than we did.
