Discussion about
Anyone in a new building/conversion hear of their building getting Verizon FiOS installed? I know all of Manhattan is going to take a while but I've also heard reports of "select new developments" getting installation (easier for Verizon to run the cables before people move in). Can anyone confirm?

I'm interested in this too. I think 67 Wall already has FiOS installed. And 90 William has some existing fiber-optic but don't know if it's FiOS.

I'm interested too. Is there a list of these buildings anywhere?

FIOS is the fiber optic Internet connection from Verizon. Basically veeerrry fast Internet, not available most places in Manhattan, or anywhere that I know of. Being a geek I'd definitely like to rent somewhere that had it :)

110 Livingston and Belltel Lofts. Both conversions in Downtown Brooklyn.
