I don't know if you want to call these people dynasties - but Macklowe, Trump.

And a bunch of families who control smaller numbers of buildings on UWS.

Oh, and that dude who owned most of the MePa district and some in the Village.

And I don't know if these count as dynasties (yet).

Agreed - below the radar for most so I'm hoping some have insight and will list.

Perhaps you could make a distinction about the family.
Two Options
1. This family is richer than the Trumps but they aren't nearly the tools that the Donald is so you'd never know it.
2. This family will be richer than the Donald (they too are less of a tool than the Donald).

PS - I don't blame his kids at all - from what I know/heard they're impressive and you can't blame them for their father's "toolness."

Agree with MAV that most are discreet, and its only due to a slip-up in estate planning, or being so big, that we find out some approximation of what's involved. E.g., the Sylvan Lawrence estate. That one chewed up hundreds of million in legal fees, IIRC.
