Discussion about
I love the real housewives of orange county. All you have to do is sell a 12 million dollar house and you won't be foreclosed on. Right! Another classic quote tonight: "if I knew two years ago how bad it was going to be, I would have put money away".

I know, all such morons.

And if 4 of 5 of folks who are getting paid to be on TV can't make their payments, imagine how bad the rest of Orange County is right now.

Did you also catch how the brokers told her that its only going to get worse. Thats surprised me a little (but it is also incentive for her to drop price now).

Perhaps this is what capitulation looks like...

Isn't that the craziest part?

These people must be taking all the $ they make and spending it on the crap they buy in the shows. I wonder how many banks are taking $700k off a loan in a short sale like in the tamra (sp?) and her husband's convo with the guy.

What would be the best web site to look at OC? I wouldn't mind some cheap spot with a water view, but right now Miami is just as cheap if not cheaper and closer.

I thought CA was crushed a year ago. How are they now saying crap like "I wish I saved"?

Remember, the shows take a while to edit and broadcast.

RIght - this was filmed months ago. I know RHONY is filmed in the summer and fall and doesn't air until months after that.

Wow, they'll be even more screwed by the end of the season. Maybe the one with the boobies will become a hooker. Ok, the one with the biggest boobies.

I think once the dust finally settles and people get back to work, Americans will have a serious values shift away from consumption and towards saving -- at ALL income levels.

Oh good -- then we can have an economy based on neither production nor consumption. Just thinking.

NYCMatt.."I think once the dust finally settles and people get back to work, Americans will have a serious values shift away from consumption and towards saving -- at ALL income levels."

Only if the government takes the lead. Currently, there is no end in sight to the ability of the jokers in DC to set bad precedent/examples. The mere fact that our government has chosen to artificially stimulate demand to support the property market tells me all I need to know. I think you may be over-rating the median intelligence of our citizens and there elected leaders.
