LIC is not my ideal home, but it is hardly the murder capital of NYC. From the following map it has hardly any murders since 2003:

A cop shot a man to death outside the Marriott in midtown in the middle of the day who was wielding an automatic. Should we stay away from there, too?

A machine gun shootout happened a few blocks from steve's apartment- good point mwade, that sure sounds dangerous.

well i agree, staying away from psycho boyfriends is always a good idea!

steve thinks that everyone should "stay away" from Broadway and 46th Street, because it is dangerous. And that 46th Street and Broadway is "nowhere near" 52nd and 8th.
