Best ways to find unfurnished sublets?

Hiya- Apart from the standard rental search methods (SE, CL, NYT, Broker's pages) I wondered whether I am missing anything for finding sublets. Like, are there "shadow" sublets out there? Should I look at the sales listings for places that have been sitting around a long time then contact the broker? Knock on doors? I appreciate it! h

I have seen these listed on OLR.com, broker's log in.

I also like your idea of checking old sales listings. You should be able to get a broker to do the work for you.
