Discussion about
I've looked at several apartments with small terraces. Some of the terraces have brick or another material which surrounds the entire terrace near the floor. Other terraces have a small gap between the floor of the terrace and the railing. What do you think of putting netting on the railing and/or are there any other options to close the gap between the terrace floor and the railing?
Why would you want to close this gap?
Two reasons: 1) I'm a little afraid of heights and if I buy an apartment which is on a high floor and has a small terrace, I'll psychologically feel safer with no gap at the base of the railing (I know it's silly) and 2) I have a small dog and I would get nervous if he were on the terrace with me and his paws were in this gap area. I knew someone would ask me why. I've seen a few terraces which have netting primarily because of small pets and sometimes because of pigeons if a low floor.
Leg netting advisable during mosquito season.
If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad.
inonada, I have no interest in arguing with you. Discussing the most astute financial move is clearly out of my comfort zone. Happy holidays and best wishes for the new year to you and yours.
