Discussion about
Any information/feedback/opinions on this specific development? Anyone on this forum lives there? Looked into purchasing there? The development is a couple of years old. They have a couple of apts for resale there. I'm not wondering about the area (I'm very familiar with it, and have no issues with safety, etc.). I'm looking for info specific to this particular development, quality of construction, finances, etc. Thank you very much in advance!
I went to an open house of a 2 BR/ 2 Ba about 865 square feet in April 2007. Problem was it has no washer and dryer in the apartment (only a building central laundry). It is new construction -- 2004 -- but apartments have a cookie cutter, utilitarian feel. 8.5 foot ceilings. Outside of the building looks nice and that area of Douglass Avenue (8th Avenue) and west to Morningside Avenue is definitely the best part of Harlem and is starting to have an Upper West Side extension feel to it. Overall, good bang for your buck, but there are many similar options in west Harlem (Palomar, Casa Loma, Brownstone Lane, Soha 118, Harlem Horizon, etc.)
