Discussion about
http://streeteasy.com/nyc/building/184-kent-avenue-brooklyn Rents are as high as I've seen in Williamsburg, but units look to be pretty high-end. It's a great looking building, but I'll be surprised if this fully rents out at these prices.

HOLY CRAP!

$6500/month to live in WILLIAMSBURG?

Well, I guess it's true what they say about a fool and his money ...

Gorgeous view. (NW corner apt)
Of course you'll spend all day looking out your window wishing the building had a tram to cross the river.

2 free months (second month amortized over first full year). Still, quite pricey. truthskr, I'd understand if this were further away from the Bedford L, but it's a pretty short walk. The water taxi would be nice, but I imagine pressure will ratchet up on that once these waterfront buildings really fill up.

Yeah I proposed on another thread Northside piers should do whatever they can to get those water taxis.
I think it's a no brainer.
NYC is like a younger Hong Kong. Manhattan is Hong Kong Isl, Bklyn/Queens coastline like Kowloon Bay if you've ever been. Just a good two to three RE booms(20 to 30 yrs) to go.
Of course not many are thinking that far ahead, but transportation is the start.
