Discussion about
...as coined by streeteasy for "Les Miserables" of the board. So much better than "Reveal." Of course I also prefer "unfreeze" to "defrost" - as there is no "frost" on frozen food lest it's been there for a time - but that's just me.

To heavy Excel users, "Unhide" makes perfect sense.

You mean hfs in all of his incarnations.

I have petrzitz on hide, and unhiding him he comes out in gray. Much like a pigeon.

Wonder if he walks with his head bobbing, too....

I don't know why everyone is assuming it's a man.

I picture a big, brassy upper middle-aged (or "of a certain age") woman. Woman, not lady, not girl, not broad, not gal, woman. As in "woman's sizes". With clown-dyed hair in a "hairdo". With big gaudy gold-tone jewelry (brooches and the like) on a big gaudy novelty-colored dress suit or pants suit or the like. And vaudeville makeup to match, of course. Lives in a scared-white-woman neighborhood like Yorkville or one of those beige areas on the eastern side of midtown.

Powdery makeup that accentuates every wrinkle and sag.
