Discussion about
Im trying to gte a handle on what these guys are actually doing.
No, but my deepest condolences to those who are in contract.
This place needs to cut prices by 20-25 percent.
I agree
I'm sure this will go rent to own
You think with 30 percent sold, there would be one fool posting that he/she is in contract.
"You think with 30 percent sold, there would be one fool posting that he/she is in contract."
which is why I'm becoming skeptical of that 30% number
You know it might be 30 percent of released units. So lets say they only released 200 units, 30 percent would mean only 60 out of 575 in contract, half of which are in litigation to get out.
Don't get me wrong I like the building, but 900 plus a foot, no chance. I think 700 a foot max, and that would be for units with views.
check the other threads for discussions on contracts and those of us who are in contract. no need to replicate the same discussion here
Concerned buyer: Who knows what those guys are really doing. I called a broker, about a year ago. He steered me away from Northside (shoddy interiors). He was big on The Edge. I told him I'm not gonna pay more than 500 Thousand for a one-bedroom in Brooklyn. And, that was that. That was then --and this is now. He also was BIG on Williamsburg...
500K will get a low floor one bed at moment, maybe
Any Edge buyers out there?
thats all we have is one person?
LOL @ Jerry.

still only one person...interesting..
beuller?
Jerry: I don't even think they have lowered the price that much, yet. I'm concerned about Williamsburg and its squatter problem. For 500 thousand, I get a nabe with squatters? Not really for me.
they definitely havent lowered price which makes no sense. still only person in contract has come forward?
no one huh..given all the people that piled on the W11 thread I'm starting to doubt the amounts of people that the edge claim to have in contract
concerned, probably has something to do with W11's recent re-opening (likely to draw more people to the board for answers) vs the Edge having been around for quite a while now without a notable new marketing blitz. But still surprising no one's replied here.
Price cuts at 2 Northside piers not looking good for Edge.
Jerry: I heard that the Developers of Northside have a reputation for shoddy buildings. The Edge, as far as I hear is very nice.. I'm not going to buy in Williamsburg, it's still way too high -- prices need to be adjusted.
And, what's this I hear about the Ferry? No Ferry, after all of the big talk about it?
That's the problem with Williamsburg's new condo developments: What we see, hear, and read here -- can all change by next week (or tomorrow!).
correct no Ferry for now
Where's Seahawk?
i give up...last bump on this
can we get anyone to come forward
no one?
It's fartig (Yiddish for finished, kaput).
hah..and i thought it was actually someone in contract
one of the sales people there bought a unit, they said
