Dennis Kanakis of Olympian has two reps: one of being a good inspector and one of canceling appointments at the last minute and then being impossible to reach, which was my experience. You'll find a similar report elsewhere on streeteasy. So be warned.

Sally seems to think the world revolves around her. Yes my car broke down and my assistant did call her approximately 2 hours in advance of the appointment time to let her know that I was stranded in the middle of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and awaiting a tow truck. When something like this occurs I am at a great loss as well, I lost $2,000 worth of work, $275 for the tow truck and an $800 repair at the dealership. Had Sally had a wise attorney or had she allowed ample time or had she had an inspection contingency clause in her contract, perhaps she would not be so hot headed. $15,000.00 worth of tools? I thought a New York State licensed home inspection was a non-invasive inspection without the use of meters and gauges? The only thing that is used is an electric GFI and polarity tester I thought.
