The Annoying New Anonymous Box

Yes, streeteay, first the login ID (which we can understand) but now the extra click for anonymous? What is your objective? Pls explain.

I haven't even posted that many annoying comments in the last 2 weeks.

Quit whining, the anonymous box doesnt add much effort. Once you check it, it stays checked, I think.

i think everything should be public and we should all be friends. you would also get used to responders and squeeze out the brokers.

I also hate this box. Default should be anonymous and you should have to click it if you want your name.

Penny, we don't want people to realize we have no creativity when it comes to pick up a nickname.

I mean, what is my girlfriend going to think of me when she sees that my nickname is "nyc123" or "gonzo"?

Or maybe it's just because they want to be able to talk with themselves without anyone else discovering their multiple personalities.

I say get rid of the whole anonymous thing, it's annoying.

But look at the positive side; you have a g/f! Half the posters to this site probably live alone in a 400 Sq Ft studio apartment, talking to themselves, re-watching Taxi Driver and fantasizing that they too will get Jodie Foster some day – when they do something really important and attract her attention!
