essex street municipal parking lot - space available

Hi. I have a monthly parking space at the Essex Street Municipal Parking Lot on Essex b/w Rivington and Delancey. The monthly fee is $250 and there is 24/7 in/out privileges. I am moving out of the area soon and would sell rights to my space to highest bidder. There is supposedly a 5 year waiting list for monthly spaces here. Any interest? by the way, its a safe lot and is patrolled regularly by the NYPD.

You have no right to sell "your rights". Why would they assign a spot to someone with a different name, address, car, insurance, etc., if they have a 5-year wait list. Because they're getting paid off? Why wouldn't just anybody pay them off directly to get the next available spot?

Anyway, the elevator's usually broken and it's unheated.

#5 -- clue me in. What's your mechanism for selling your rights? How long is your transferable lease?
