Painting and floors - recommendations? Estimates?

I'm moving into a 1 bdrm, 670 sq ft apartment, 14 ft ceilings, and I want to have (1) walls painted - just living room and bedroom - and (2) hardwood floors refinished before I move in. (Walls and floors are in good condition; walls are white and look good as is, and floors have some scratches but are otherwise fine, but I want to choose my own colors.) Can anyone provide estimates as to how much this should cost? Recommendations for contractors? Thanks.
