Thoughts on the Oliver Cromwell (West 72nd)?
Nice neighborhood!
Ditto.
Oliver Cromwell was a scoundrel. Why not just move to the Joseph Stalin on East 34th?
Crummy converted hotel in a good location.
Are a lot of co-ops converted hotels?
Sure, and most are crummy. Especially 12 W72. Small apts, weird kitchen, high maintenance, weird layouts, rundown lobby, small elevators. Think about it: Would a hotel built in the 20s be suited for modern living?
I'd rather live across the street at The Dakota!
Yeah dude. Keep dreaming.
i live there...the management company neglects maintenance...my doorbell has been broken foreever...the kitchen is small and NARROW...if i stand sideways in it no one can pass by...maintenance is very high...i have a 2 bedroom with the second bedroom really being big enough for a crib and an infant to be in...i believe they call it a maid's room...could never put a child in it...i regret i made the purchase...
Remember what happened to Cromwell. It could happen to you.
Any recent thoughts on this building? It seems pretty awesome
I think the kitchen sizes haven't changed in the last 12 years.
Why would you expect the kitchen sizes to change????
Great location, questionable name, some decent layouts, not sure if I would call it awesome.
What am I missing, the burkhardtgroup? What do you perceive as the negatives?
