A quiet street? Did you look at a map?

30 yrs - oddly enough, because of the traffic pattern that is really not that busy a street.

Cooper square is a relatively quiet spot near bustling traffic (cars AND pedestrians.)
Between Bleecker and 7th street, it's not nearly as congested as north or south of that. Of course, this may be changing with all the new construction on the Bowery corridor. I just walked by there this afternoon, the new building north of the B Bar is progressing very fast.

With more hotels, nightlife, rental buildings coming to that 'nook' of a neighborhood, expect more traffic and noise Plus, the listing's ask is obnoxious.
