Driving down Northern Blvd in Corona I came across this construction site listing "Sage House Luxury Condos" and i thought who in their right mind would drop $500K to live in a decrepit slum sorrounded by cheap third world restaurants, mexican bars known for gang activity and shootings, over priced bodegas and adjecent to a city housing project and across the street from an auto body repair shop? The closest subway is a 15-20 min walk through one of the most seediest Queens neighborhoods to the 103st station to the #7 train. the closest supermarket is approximately 2 miles away unless you don't mind shopping in neighborhood bodegas. What a strange place to build condos? within a year these "condos" will become "rentals".
