No? Well that would be a good thing if it didn't happen on the UWS. There are other neighborhoods who could use what Trader Joe's offers much more than the UWS.

If it's inexpensive wine, try Crane Lake @ Acker Merrill. As good if not better than 2 buck chuck.

The city only allocates one liquor license per chain. They won't be able to sell wine on 72nd st without shutting the downtowm location. Let's see what happens.
