Discussion about
It seems that there are quite a few units available for sale in this building -- does anyone have any thoughts on this?

We looked at a couple units there a few years back and decided against it mainly because of the proximity to the off ramp for the Brooklyn Bridge. Nice building and apartments (really a few buildings stuck together I think), but even though it is technically Brooklyn Heights it is not prime by any stretch.

I looked at several apartments there and continue to monitor it closely. Although it's not really prime BH, I like Dumbo and this building's proximity to that area was a plus for me. I met a couple of the very friendly residents and liked it a lot. The layouts are a bit quirky but I think you can get a bit more space in this building than in prime BH for the money. The only thing I would watch out for is the apartments that have "lofts" because the ceiling height is too low to stand up in - to me this makes them pretty unusable for anything but storage or guests. The currently listed example is 2F. Great renovation, but the loft space doesn't quite work.
