Any Impression on this location?

I'm considering an apartment in this building and really want to do my homework. Does anyone know about this building? Is it run well? I hear there's a new super. Has anyone researched the effects of the 2nd ave subway on the location, neighborhood pros and cons, bed bugs (regret reading the new NY Mag article on problem in the city!)...general feedback would be most appreciated.
