best media to advertise apartments for rent

the callers are mistrustful because 90% of "for rent by owner" listings on craigslist are from brokers. not good for owners or legit brokers.
pony up and pay here. i am assuming since you are the owner you won't mind having the building address available on the se page

or you could list through a broker and not worry about it. doesn't cost you anything, does it?

I tried SE. My ad got 5-10x average hits fot two weeks. And no calls. Rented off CL and keep getting
calls from CL from other apartments. But traffic quality and quantity are way down.

I have nothing about real estate brokers, but the female brokers I meet no longer offer the
'concessions" they would sometimes offer when the market was really strong
