Discussion about
I'm a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper, and I'm doing a story about big time rental developers who promise things that either don't materialize, or they decide to start charging outrageous amounts of money for. For example: I have a developer who promised outdoor space as part of their new far west side building. When it was finally finished, they roped the outdoor space off as part of the gym and only allowed you to go there if you paid gym membership. (And any guest would cost $15 per head.) Anybody know of anything else like that? Respond here, or email me at ArnieCaro@gmail.com
How about a building that decides to lease 25 units to a major company for corporate housing and doesn't tell its current tenants it has already leased their apartments so there will be no renewals until the tenant asks. That's always fun.
