Anyone familiar with this building? Why are there so many rental units available? I see some are rentals are sponsor units but others are by owner. It seems to be a rather small building to have so many rentals.

veselka, which are for rent by sponsor? i'm no fan of this building, and agree that it seems hugely overpriced, but it looks to me as though the developer has at most one unit left. buyers are losing money on their resales, but not really that much given that the closings occurred in 2008.

Why did they need to renovate if the building was built brand new only a few years ago?

Not with that layout.

How did they end up with a design whereby you have to walk through the main entry, living room, and dining room in order to get to the kitchen? Was the architect unfamiliar with term 'service entrance', and the need to move around supplies, trash, and servants without disturbing the owners? I can understand the limitations inherent in a smaller space, but it's inexcusable in a full-floor unit.
