Discussion about 240 Park Avenue South in Flatiron
privit veselka. zvidki rodom?
ridiculously overpriced building. developor could not sell. buyers are stuck.
veselka, which are for rent by sponsor? i'm no fan of this building, and agree that it seems hugely overpriced, but it looks to me as though the developer has at most one unit left. buyers are losing money on their resales, but not really that much given that the closings occurred in 2008.
Beautiful building with Top of the line renovations I would take a look if you want a great building
Why did they need to renovate if the building was built brand new only a few years ago?
Back below pre-recession prices?

Does anybody see this selling for 30M?
Not with that layout.
How did they end up with a design whereby you have to walk through the main entry, living room, and dining room in order to get to the kitchen? Was the architect unfamiliar with term 'service entrance', and the need to move around supplies, trash, and servants without disturbing the owners? I can understand the limitations inherent in a smaller space, but it's inexcusable in a full-floor unit.
