Is it just me or does it seem like inventory is down in the city?

There really is never all that much available. Manhattan vacancy rates have fluctuated between less than 1% and 1.5% for a few years now.

GOOD inventory is down. Still lots of average or overpriced properties out there - just look at some of the older listings on Streeteasy. In our experience looking at Manhattan condos over the past 6 months, there was a definite decline in good inventory at the end of spring. Could be a summer slow down or something more long-term.
