so I am having a door dilemma. do most people these days do solid doors - white or hardwood and stain? there are a thousand options out there and I am unsure. I feel like all white can look cheap? the design of the apartment is "transitional" would appreciate all of your opinions on doors - thank you

what color are your floors? are your walls mostly white?

White, white, white, white. IMO, hardwood doors can look cheap if not $$$. I've only seen them work with a very modern esthetic (flat front, everything sleek/minimalist) or if part of original detail (lots of wood panelling everywhere).
