thanks for that link--did you wind up using one of those referred painters-- if so, what was your experience
My father in law is a GC working a lot of jobs and great painter. He has really great pricing. Let me know if you want a quote from him, email me at jahanh at gmail.
Last Sept, my contractor did a really good job painting my 750 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment and all the wood trimmings(on the ceiling as well as 8 floor to celling closet doors, and 5 regular doors). They are fully insured and referred to me from other tenant in the building. Eastside Interiors Inc. 646-752-2954.
I just repainted my entire apartment using a painter who was referred to me by Janovich. He's a delightful gentleman and his name is Colin O Hara. Contact info is colingohara@gmail.com; tel 347-622-0309. He also does venentian plaster as well and is very reliable. He skipped breakfast and lunch to make sure that everything was painted by the deadline I gave him.
Tony Guetti at Anthony Fine Painting 646-246-2348 did a very nice job for us on out Junior 4 -- ceilings, walls and trim.

kiz10014 - haven't tried any of them yet - keep putting off having the apartment painted, but will be calling some of them soon to get quotes for painting in the fall.
Thanks for all the input
