I know stand up comics tend to run their material many times over, but Steve is setting the bar even higher.

Still overcast with recently more consensus on the likelihood of prolonged rain and continued flooding.

She packed my cookies last night pre-plight
Zero hour one p.m.
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much I miss my life
It's lonely out in open house
On such a timeless plight

And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no no no I'm a broker man
broker man burning out his fuse up here alone

Wall St. ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science I don't understand
It's just my job two days a week
A broker man, a broker man

And I think it's gonna be a long long time...

Goodness ;-) hard to follow that.

I just wanted to say there was a story in Crains today about how all the city's libraries are getting blitzed with big budget cuts.

And as we know many public transit lines are also slated for the chopping block.

When public services start to go, that is the beginning of a downward trend for all property values, resi and commercial.

It is possible of course that Bloomie may save some of these institutions from brutal cuts.

But I doubt it.

When our mayor is no longer a business minded billionaire, but a true populist, the city may be in serious trouble.
