Discussion about
I am interested in this building. I have looked in acris, but I can't seem to find the share allocations for each apt. How do I find this? Would anywhere list the sq. ft. of each apt? Thanks
Share allocations are in the co-op's offering plan. The square feet might be there, too, but unlikely since it's a co-op.
Offering plans aren't publicly filed, so not on ACRIS.
They sometimes turn up elsewhere, e.g. on the managing agent's site, so Google around and it may turn up.
You could also look at all the UCC1's filed on ACRIS for the co-op, make a table of the floors and lines, and so either see or interpolate what a given apartment's share-count is.
"Offering plans aren't publicly filed, so not on ACRIS."
They need to be filed with the AG, no? I wonder if the AG makes them readily available, or on the other hand if it can remain non-public info.
Right, they're filed with the Attorney General, but you have to go downtown and pay for copies. If the sponsor still owns more than 10%, then an amended offering plan has to be filed every year, too.
There's a lawyer in Brooklyn who's scanned some offering plans. Google lavender law offering plans.
