Discussion about
wowzuh... Buildings along Second Ave. subway crumbling At least 60 structures need work so they do not become a danger to the public, the MTA says. :: http://www.crainsnewyork.com/article/20100621/REAL_ESTATE/100629977 Ss I've been saying, when the market finally bottoms, there is going to be some serious UES opportunity.

I'm too lazy to read the article, but it sounds like the MTA's promoting redevelopment on behalf of some buddies, and not truly structural problems.

Yes. Of course, when a 5 story walkup crumbles, a 50 story building usually replaces it.

MAV: Check out my "Fave songs about New York "thread, and my "clubs/venues" thread. You will enjoy them.

I will give Bobby your regards.

Now, please let's hear it for Phil!
