Curious as to how people think a condo-hotel will do in Williamsburg?
It's a unique beast (and hopefully will stay pretty unique). There's not much question that Williamsburg sorely lacks hotel rooms. I'm sure it'll do well on that front if only due to the dearth of options. But I can't say that rampant hedonism that seems to be marketed with it will be good for the neighborhood. Let's face it - Williamsburg has enough going on that it doesn't need to attract a Meatpacking/Gansevoort style crowd to a hotel. Fortunately development isn't a particularly hot game these days, so even if it is successful, I don't think we'll see someone try to replicate for at least a few years.
Did anyone go to the sneak preview?
not yet. will do and keep u posted
Any updates on accepted range for PSF?
The place was nice, but the 1BRs were tiny.
yeah 1brs are small. but would make for a great rental spot especially with the pool and the hotel.
Did this place go rental?
i'm seeing rentals available online at the Residence building 162 N 12th.., are they also making some of 135 N rentals? the units are small but layouts are smart. values will not do as well if they have a ton of rentals in the buildings. usually not great for investments.
supposedly the n 11th building is supposed to start closings soon.
I think its investors renting their units now that closings have begun. As noted in the above discussion, the 1 bedrooms are tiny (though nicely layedout) and would make for good rentals or a starter condo.
does anyone know if buyers still receive Natuzzi @ Home, a complimentary in-home design consultation, in addition 20 percent on all home furnishings?
I think that was just a 1 month deal they were doing. I went to check some listings a few days ago and there was no mention about this.
Anyone know if there have been any complaints about noise from the pool and lounge area at night?
