Given that this woman bought into the Dakota pre-construction and had to wait FOR-EVVVVVER for the C of O to come through, we can hardly begrudge her her long stay there.

But anyway, as far as the Dakota being the secret to longevity, didn't that guy Paul McAutry from the Roll & Stoned die there at a relatively young age?

You mean the guy from Wings? And I heard he was in another band before that...whatever.
As for his dying young, I think he had help.

Yoko looks fabulous for her age. Clear, clear, unlined skin. And she's closing in on 75.

Eeh, that's creepy. I used to think Lennon lived to a fairly ripe-ish old age (when I was a kid).

Listen, we both know what this is about: you want me to say she's had a facelift, and then you get to make a clever remark about "Plastic [surgery] Ono Band"

At least Yoko Ono answers her email.

10023, have you seen her in person recently or are you commenting from a photo? There are so many ways photos can be enhanced, edited, and otherwise f'ed with, I tend not to trust celebrity shots as a true reflection of what those people really look like.

But yes she looks better than the average 80 year old. Probably has had surgery, and even if she hasn't, she has been able to avail herself to the very best anti-aging medical, nutritional and cosmetic support. Genes largely dictate whether or not we will look good at 80 (assuming we even get there) but as in many other areas of life, affluence is a distinct advantage.

"In the middle of a dream'
in the middle of a dream I call your name:
Oh Yoko,
Oh yo-o-o-ko..." ("Oh Yoko" John Lennon)
