80% return thus far this year - catch it on the upside, & the down.

Bitter renters all.

steve - last i checked you were 'easily' making 1-2% a day on your trading. As we are now halfway through the year, I'd expect you to be up 125-190% day. What gives?

We will have weak earnings second half and into next year. Why would stocks go up?

Yes, thats how we know your calls were so bad. Good thing you stopped making public calls, it was getting freaking hillarious.

STILL laughing over the "I sold China... no I didn't... no I did... no..." stuff.

Don't you know.... the more money steve loses in the real world, the more fabulous his made up calls become. That way he "breaks even".

No - last time you checked I said that it was possible to do that. I don't invest every day - only when the conditions are ripe.

swe, have you adjusted your portfolio in here at all? you are still well underwater from when we compared positions 3 weeks ago (gains, losses prior to that are undocumented and, so, mean little), and you had to be itching to puke up a lot of positions over the last few sessions--if no pukey, yesterday alleviated a bit of pain for you---but what now? sticking with things as described 3 weeks ago? let's kinda redocument where we are--im exactly as I presented 3 weeks ago--tuesday i missed by appx 2% adding tiny etf's to my too tiny to worry about stock positions--so i'm same as it ever was---you??
just want to know if youve lightened up about, in case we have a little move from here.

could you please let us know when it gets quite strong and also when the conditions are ripe? having access to such a titan of investing is just a side benefit of streeteasy
the hedge funds are delivering a mediocre performance this year for their 2+20, clearly for your 1%-2% daily return you must be charging something in the neighborhood of 5+50?

Ripe? Like summer fruits? Strawberries in June. Berries in July. Peaches in August? Tomatoes in Sept.?

The Union Square Greenmarket system.

muto: Thanks. I don't know about trading. Sanford and Bernstein do it for me. It pays to pay people who know what they are doing, when I don't.

"Greene County, New York has more ripe produce than Columbia County, New York"

I don't know, greene, I get mine from Dutchess, but in all fairness, the farm is right about at the nexus of Dutchess, Ulster, Greene, and Columbia.

se10024: Sanford Bernstein, name of the firm.

My trusts/estates lawyer's name is Sanford.

My account's name is Bernstein.

They are not the Sanford Bernstein.

Juicy, you're beyond offending anyone at this point. You should work on manning up to being so wrong so often.

> swe, have you adjusted your portfolio in here at all?

Yeah, as I said, I bought some more when under $10k

> you are still well underwater from when we compared positions 3 weeks ago

I took some profits up to 11k, left some in.

But, underwater? We kidding with that?. Remember, I bought in with the dow thousands of points below where we are now...

(gains, losses prior to that are undocumented and, so, mean little)

I posted here as I did it (and noted I was still 100% equity when we crossed 9k) so its a documented as anyone else's.

> and you had to be itching to puke up a lot of positions over the last few sessions--if no pukey, yesterday
> alleviated a bit of pain for you---but what now?

Nope, I've gotten even better and holding strong. Worked for me at the bottom, and its helped with confidence now.

And still putting in additional income.

> sticking with things as described 3 weeks ago?

basically, yup.

> let's kinda redocument where we are--im exactly as I presented 3 weeks ago--tuesday i missed by appx 2% adding
> tiny etf's to my too tiny to worry about stock positions--so i'm same as it ever was---you??

pretty much, yeah, except for the additional buy ins on dips (mostly from new income)

> just want to know if youve lightened up about, in case we have a little move from here

Nope, I added in when we dipped below 10k, took a little profit since, but more in that before...

Steve, its hillarious to hear that coming from you...

Your latest "win", you scream short, and we jump another 200 points...
