Discussion about
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/15/nyregion/15flushing.html?src=me&ref=nyregion Given a choice, I'd absolutely go with the Koreans as neighbors. Also, I see more and more Chinese stores and businesses in Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge squeezing out every other group. Except for the Russians.

This is good for Queens and NYC. Both Chinese and South Korean businesses should be encouraged. The area already has at least one major hotel drawing international visitors(maybe more it's been a while since I was there).

Another reason why NYC will thrive and survive the current crisis.

There are those who suggest re-partitioning Israel. The Chinese and the Koreans can share Flushing. The stakes are not nearly as large.
