Is buying into a coop to condo conversion a good idea? and does anyone no why properties at 9511 shore road have been sitting there for so long?

this is a conversion. they take a long time and getting financing is difficult. i wouldn't be surprised that the only people who closed are insiders and paid cash or used sponsor financing.
