The black monolith that makes you hear the theme music from 2001 space odyssey?

That would be 1 Madison park.

Thanks Truth. When I was walkiong across Madison Square Park the other day and looked up, the building made me a little nervous. It looks like it could just tilt over or something. I saw another thin building on the north side, but I didn't get the same feeling from that building.

From the day it went up I said to my b/f that pencil thin tower of Babel is SO going to fall over and crush the Shake Shack one day. I just wanna be on record as saying so.

Kyle, my husband was less delicate in his analysis. he said I think that fucker's going down. and not a moment too soon.

I know the views are great up high, but calling this a corner to get zoning approval seems a remarkable reach to me. rising out of the subway, subway sandwich shop, hale and hearty, live bait, the empty chirping chicken storefront (how many years now?), radio shack, etc. WTF?
