Discussion about
My attorney informed me that there's no warranty for the unit. Is this common? Should I be concerned?

Of course you should be concerned. The developers built on a toxic site and they know it.

Look st this picture, supposedly the site was cleaned up and protected by a membrane, but here you can see pools of oil formed with construction well underway:

Yes, it is common to sell the unit "as is" but some buyers were able to negotiate a 1 year warranty on the unit and common areas.

the gowanus lounge guy has unfortunately passed away, but his entire site was built on half truths and hysteria to drum up posters and therefore advertisers. pls quote gov't info for sure, but referring to that site is just wrong.

wisco, it's A PICTURE. What is it about oil pooling in an active construction site that needs explaining?
