The person that I knew who was killed in traffic? That was my friend's mother. It was tragic, and in response to the better in the suburbs/ city life topic.

I didn't go into detail about it. Nobody would be interested in her funeral/non-funeral; who in her family came back/didn't come back to Manhattan from vacation/ out of town, etc., etc.
