Step right up, it's amateur hour on SE! Here's Riversider, with his classic gems: "In the end we are better off. Jobs are apportioned out in a way that makes sense. The foreign worker actually protects American jobs." "Illegaql immigrants are not "criminals". Yes they break the law..." I can't wait to expand this list...

Illegal immigrants did not necessarily commit any crime. Why is that hard to understand?

Technically - and I hate to say this - LICC is right: illegal immigration is a tort, not a crime. However, obtaining false documents and falsifying records are crimes.

And employing illegal aliens is also a crime - that no one is ever convicted of.
