I'm in the process of buying a unit here and in the offering plan they specify that there's no warranty. Is this normal? I've been told that this is a normal case for bigger buildings.

Realize you are dealing with someone who has a consistent track record of deceit and lies, what difference would it make if he did give you a warranty

That's usually pretty normal. There will be a warranty from the manufacturers of the appliances, windows, hvac, etc. If there is something of concern to you (say warping of the floor, major plumping issue, etc.,) you can have your lawyer right that in.

(that should be plumbing, NOT plumping... though, that could be a concern too)
