Backdoor Attorney fee: Acris Filing Fee

My attorney charged me $300 for Acris filing (for a coop sale closed in queens). He took this money from the IOLA escrow account created by buyer at time of closing in addition to the usual transfer taxes etc. I went to NYC Acris info page and they ONLY take some $50 and $5 per page by way of fees! Isn't this Acris fee a backdoor attorney fee? does this accord with the experience of all you savvy streeteasy members? a call to compare notes on this closing cost.

I just went over the CLosing Cost breakdown sheet he gave me and it also includes a $100 RPT filing fee over and above the $300 Acris fee!
