Discussion about
Does anyone know if there is a company that makes a gas powered condenser dryer? My coop does not allow 220V electric dryers but there is no way to vent a gas dryer.

I'm pretty sure gas dryers MUST be vented, in case the gas doesn't fully combust ... interior-air poisoning issues.

Strange that they would allow a gas, but not a 220V dryer - where is the gas connection coming in?

According to the board member that oversees renovation applications there is an amperage problem in the building and so they prohibit owners from installing 220 lines. The previous owner had a gas dryer and an illegal vent out the window.
