Discussion about
Wondering what is the average price on a rental studio is on the UES on either Madison or 5th in the 60's or 70's. Suggestions on what price range I should settle for, and how much are rents negotiable?

I've seen studios for $2,000. that's without a doorman but a decent size.

There are still quite a few decent studios on the UES in the 60's or 70's from some pre-war buildings available for as low as $925. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Thru words of mouth. They usually come and go.
