it's not gonna happen. we will go through more "extend and pretend", the aim is to "manage" price declines and supply of foreclosures not to avoid that by law.

in reality fannie and freddie are closer to needing another bail out than to be able to forgive anything.

guys, remember that renters do vote too, and they represent 35% of voters and are obviously gonna be against this handout. homeowners without negative equity represent around another 50% of voters...

why pissing off 85% of voters to tell the other 15% "It's true! you just cannot lose by buying a house". it just doesn't add up.
