Recommended Brokers in Canarsie/East Flatbush?

A friend recently inherited a house in Canarsie/East Flatbush and wants to sell it. We are looking for a reliable, established seller's broker to market and sell the house quickly. We are having the house independently appraised, so we will know what it's worth. I would appreciate any broker recommendations in this area. If you have someone to recommend, please be specific as to your experience with them, or why you believe they are good. For example, "Sam Jones of Corcoran is great," is not helpful. Thanks very much.

I have not had any experience in that area, but can give you my thought. Fillmore has a presence in the area and is a large RE. I've worked with a few of their brokers and find them to be qualified and knowledgeable. They will co-broke with other brokers to get your place sold as quickly as possible.

On the other hand, Talk of the Town RE, which also has a presence there, is what everyone thinks of brokers. They will post their listings on MLS and then tell other brokers that the place is "sold" or "under contract". The seller gets stuck with the house because the RE does not want to do a co-broke with another RE firm.

Just my 2 cents. Sorry can't give you any specific names.

i grew up there, fillmore was all over the place.
