Hey, I thought rich co-op ppl on 5th avenue never felt recessions? WTF?
FWIW. sold in 2004 for $1.6MM, asking $2.5MM... traffic from the Hamptons is unbearable.. .always start early i say.....
And so it begins.....
w67, if they don't need to sell, the owners could care less about optimum timing or pricing. They just name their price and list. It's really that simple.
why list at all? I'm sure there is another co-op owner in the bldg, who'd gladly buy it for the maid, no? I remember when a CPW or 5th ave address meant something....
and FWIW, given my hunt on a 3bdrm, these 3 units are very well priced and alot of thought was put into it. The fact they came out swinging in mid august tells me a ton.... but to the lemmings, not so much
can we get a FLMAO please?
lemmings, says a guy who brags about being a TA in finance and getting a job in investment banking ... but, that "investment bank" was the financial branch of Sears... Dean Witter Reynolds.
1035 5th appreciated 60% in 6 years. That's amazing.
"They just name their price and list. It's really that simple."
Doesn't that indicate a disconnection to reality?
