Discussion about
Since this is a Citi-Habitats ad I am suspicious about, well, everything. Real pictures? Price? SF? And, since the real address isn't given, just "cross streets" I figure it could be anywhere. Nevertheless, if at least the price and description are true, any guesses on where this listing is? http://www.postlets.com/rts/4094864
I'm not looking for a 2 BR in this nabe but I still need to know cross-streets so I can stay away from that possessed dog! Holy tamales that thing looks like the spawn of the devil. The "welcome" makes it extra creepy.
Mommyesq, you made me laff! I suppose that was there "creative" way of letting us know that dogs are ok. FAIL
Helen, there is nothing true about this ad. Not the pictures, not the price, not the location. I have been a real estate agent for 6 years. The pictures of the living room which consists of herringbone wooden floor, fireplace, prewar high ceiling - is a living room of an apartment that's at least 8000$ in monthly rent. There is plenty of these grandiose living rooms in UES/UWS and they are called by classic 6, Classic 7, classic 8. Different pictures of different apts are in this ad plus a dog picture - this citi-Habitat girl is very creative. I love the dog though he is innocent. Ha. This is what happens when you trying to look for something that's impossible - you find agents posting impossible apartments.
Jasmine you're stretching a bit. While I agree that this is not a real apartment, you can get a living room like that for well under 7k-8k per month. I wonder where this ad was found?
Thanks Jasmine! Seeing Citi-Habitats is an automatic flag. I think I found that at Trulia. Really, do people get business by being so shady? It's like the Nigerian Prince thing!
