I'm curious about this store (83rd St and Broadway) as well, but my question is why are they already closing up shop? They've been open for less than a month. I haven't been in since the conversion from Jennifer Convertibles, but the selection is relatively small, with only the main floor showroom and a slightly larger basement showroom.

movinup- Ashley has a good reputation and has been in business for a long time, quality isn't the best, but it is better than you would expect for the price. the Secaucus NJ store had prices 20% less than the NYC store and delivered for only $49. When I asked about the price difference they explained that each franchise can set its own prices.
